Getting Here

  • The closest airport to fly into is the Philadelphia International Airport or PHL. It’s only about 15 miles from where the wedding and reception will be held.

  • If you plan to stay in the city, you would be able to travel to both the wedding and reception via the Septa regional rail if you are down for a little walking.

You would take the Fox Chase Line and exit on Lawndale. From there, it is a 9 minute walk to the church.

After the wedding, you would be able to get back on the Fox Chase Line and exit at the Fox Chase Station for the reception. From there, it is a 13 walk to the Knowlton Mansion.

Please make sure the timing lines up. You can plan your trip using this website

  • If you are driving, there is plenty of room to park at both the church and the Knowlton Mansion.

Parking for the church may be found on Rising Sun Ave. in the front of the church or in the back in the convent parking lot located on Argyle St. between Devereaux Ave. and Robbins St.

You can find parking at the Knowlton Mansion in their parking lot. If you need to leave your car there overnight, the staff requires that you pick it up by Noon on Saturday, April 25th. Please be respectful of their wishes and the next event.

Staying Here

There are a couple different areas to find a hotel, Airbnb, or Vrbo, depending on the kind of area you want to stay. Below are some hotel recommendations based on the area.

Having Fun

April is a great time to visit Philly because spring is in full bloom! You can check out the spring flowers at the Longwood Gardens or along the Wissahickon River for green trails.

For the boring people, I mean history buffs, you can check out Independence Hall or the Liberty Bell.

For the people who are more fun I suggest a Phillies game or exploring the Reading Terminal Market.
